Although 3Shape LMS endeavors to ensure cloud-based lab management seamless across all platforms, there can be times where installed software or hardware may cause issues. Here are some troubleshooting tips for issues that might affect 3Shape LMS site performance.
3Shape LMS is designed to optimally run on either the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, browsers. Some of the following aspects of hardware or software may affect 3Shape LMS performance:
- Browser type
- Computer hardware configuration
- Internet connection
- Firewalls
- Internal networks
- Anti-virus/security software
- Printer drivers/settings
Browser type: Occasionally browsers may release updates that can cause functionality issues in 3Shape LMS such as pages not loading fully, action buttons not responding, or printouts displaying differently. We would recommend first switching to the other browser (Chrome -> Firefox or vice versa) and seeing if the issues are still appearing.

Firewalls and internal networks: Firewall and internal networks are security features that can restrict access to certain sites. If you are not able to load certain pages of 3Shape LMS but other sites are loading, you may need to check your firewall or internal network settings.
Anti-Virus/Malware and security software: Security software such as anti-malware or anti-virus can occasionally block certain features from displaying correctly in 3Shape LMS. If your 3Shape LMS is not responding or behaving like it should be, and you are using anti-virus/malware software, we recommend disabling the software temporarily to see if that could be the cause.
Internet connection: Intermittent internet connection can cause certain 3Shape LMS pages to not fully load or give errors. If you are being redirected to our "Whoops" or "Service not available" pages, please contact 3Shape LMS support.
If you are getting "No internet connection pages" this may have to do with your lab's internet connectivity and you can try restarting your router/modem or contacting your internet service provider. See images below for some examples:
Printer driver/settings: Being a cloud based software, we do not have direct access to your printer settings. All the margins in 3Shape LMS will always be the same when populating the PDFs. If you are having issues with the printouts not printing properly or within margin, please check your printer settings. The two most common issues that cause print sizing issues is the "Fit to page" being turned off or printing in the wrong layout (portrait vs. landscape).
