Why updating invoice won't change case order

When updating an invoice in 3Shape LMS you my add or subtract items but these edits will not change the case record.  

 

This is so you can always have a record of the original order.

1) Case record before item is added to invoice

3) Case record items remain unchanged, but invoice section reflects changes made
